emotional intelligence is a different way of being smart and it is the ability to understand andrecognize emotional status and managing emotions, which promotes productivity, proper socialrelations and makes good decision in life. there are growing reports of the integration ofemotional intelligence in medical practice, so the purpose of this paper is a literature reviewrelated to emotional intelligence and its role in medical education.
