Abstract
This study examines the perceptions of female engineering students in Malaysia and Japan on theprogram and the engineering profession. Studied in the context of their perception of learning experiences and socio-cultural aspects. This study used quantitative where a total of 30 female engineering students in a questionnaire about their perception of the program and the engineering profession. The results showed that female students Malaysia and Japan in the field of engineering has a different degree of consensus in many of the key elements of learning experiences in their engineering degree courses as well as sociocultural influence on their perception of the program and the engineering profession.
