A PSYCHO-SOCIAL SOLUTION TO PROBLEMS RELATED TO SOCIAL ASSISTANCE RECIPIENTS: ‘SADAQA STONES MODELING’

Social assistance generally means eliminating the needs of people by providing goods or financial support. There might be some problems with social assistance, particularly at the stage of conveying assistance to the “recipients”. For the most part, these problems consist of “being labeled and humiliated”, “discrimination and clientelism”, “idleness and dependence”, and “abuse”. The aim of this article is to offer a “psychosocial” modeling as a solution to the problems related to those who receive social assistance. At this point, the “sadaqa stones” modeling will be considered as a springboard for finding a solution. Thus, interpretations of how the social assistance modeling should be at the present time will be taken up in this article.
