Usage Style of Notion of Existence in Ibn Sīnā and Criticism of Shahristānī

Ibn Sīnā’s philosophy has been exposed different assesment and criticism during the Islamic thought history. Shahristānī who known generally as a mutakallim and historian of religion wrote a book which called Musâra‘atü’l-felâsife in order to criticize metaphysical views of Ibn Sīnā’s. In this study, I will examine his criticism that took place in the mentioned book against Ibn Sīnā’s usage style of the notion of existence and behind the assesments we will try to reach a conclusion about these criticism whether accuracy or not.
