Sufi Interpretations in Hasan Basri Qantay s Kur an-i Hakim ve Meal-i Kerim

Kur an-i Hakim ve Meal-i Kerim, which is a Turkish translation with explanations by Hasan Basri Qantay, is undoubtedly one of the most important Turkish tranlations of the Qur an since the establishment of the Turkish Republic. In this article, we tried to shed light on sufi views and interpretations which are mentioned in this work. At the beginning we tried to determine the author s general view on tasawwuf, then examined the reasons for mentioning of the sufi views and interpretations, and sources of them, use of these sources, and the methodology that is applied while mentioning them.
