Abstract :
Direct electrochemical response of myoglobin (Myb) on multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT)-modified glassy carbon (GC) electrode was observed. Interestingly, Myb on the MWNT exhibited an elegant catalytic activity for electrochemical reduction of oxygen (O2), based on which an unmediated biosensor for O2 was developed.
