Abstract
In this paper, we define C∗ -module algebras as a generalization of Hilbert algebras and study their properties. We describe some structures of a C∗ -module algebra including bounded elements and left (right) module adjointable maps. Furthermore we establish some properties of Hilbert algebras for C∗ -module algebras.
