Abstract :
Dendritic formation of mastoparan molecule by a carboxyl-terminal linkage to a lysine branch increased the original mastoparan activity for hemolysis and catecholamine release from adrenal chromaffin cells. The most potent dendrimer in hemolytic activity, approximately 8000 times as active as mastoparan, was octameric mastoparan.
