Abstract :
The complex [Ni(4,4ʹ-bipyridine)2(NCS)2]n, in which nickel atoms are linked by two different Ni-4,4ʹ-bpy-Ni assemblies to form two-dimensional distorted square net structure and the most effective packing of layers, has been isolated and structurally characterized.
