Abstract :
The aim of this study is to analyze the effects of institutions that reveal the incentives in the economy and institutional structures which are defined as the various elements promoting the development of economic activities on the transformation of state-society relations in Egypt after the military coup of 1952. Primarily, it has been understood that institutions and institutional structures are significantly influenced by political, social and economic events. In Egypt, it has been found that the legal infrastructure to ensure the protection of property rights cannot be founded, the frame that will prevent the corruption cannot be created, equitable judicial system cannot be set up and the transparent and participatory government model which is the guarantee of such these structures cannot be established. The governance gap resulting from such events has led to the failure to achieve institutional change that would bring state and society relations to a solid ground.
