Abstract :
The researchers conducted this qualitative research to acquiring knowledge of private school instructors about implementing evidence based interventions for developing verbal and nonverbal social communication abilities and related necessary skills on children with autism spectrum disorder in Pakistan. The method for conducting the present study was comprised of the research design, interview context, gathering data and evaluation processes. Additionally, protocols of confidentiality were also considered as research ethics. A publicizing advert was circulated in the three private special education institutions of Lahore, Faisalabad and Gojra of the Punjab province, Pakistan, defining the research study and soliciting for inclined and enthusiastic individuals amongst faculty members to get in touch via both electronic mail and cell-phone. The researchers employed purposive sampling to get responses and to reach the results of the study. There were ten important open ended probing questions to ask form the volunteer interviewees. These questions later were looked at and discovered answers. The obtained answers illustrated that social communication deficiencies had been overcome by the implementation of evidence based interventions. In addition, discrete trial training, immediate positive reinforcement, autism friendly training rooms, and inter-trial interval procedure had been discovered to develop verbal and nonverbal social communication abilities among individuals with ASD.
