Abstract :
The Cu(II) complexes based on 4,4ʹ-biimidazole and its deprotonated mono-anionic ligands were synthesized as the first metal complexes, which exhibit hydrogen-bonding networks. X-ray crystal structure analyses reveal the (pi)-stacking structure of each complex and N–H···X or N···H–X type hydrogen-bondings.
