Mother s Views Regarding Sleep Patterns of Six-Twelve Month Old Babies

Aim: In this study, it was aimed to determine the opinions of mothers of six to twelve months old babies about their babies’ sleeppatterns. Method: Basic Interpretive Pattern Analysis, which is one of the qualitative research models was used in the research. The study group consisted of 6 mothers with six to twelve months old infants in Çorum City Center. Interview Form which is prepared by researcher that consistof semi-structured questions was used as data collection tool. Results and conclusions: In the study, it has been revealed that babies generally have a certain sleep pattern, however mothers often consider themselves inadequate even though they have various sleep routines in forming their babies sleep patterns.
