Abstract :
An electron transfer salt comprised of 2,5-dimethyl-7,7,8,8-tetracyano-p-quinodimethane (DMTCNQ) with porphyrinatomanganese(II) was structurally and magnetically characterized. The [DMTCNQ]-• exhibits a novel cis-(MU)coordination motif.
