Abstract :
In this paper, we are interested in the local stability of planar polynomial differential systems.We develop amethod to determine the resolvent of a given differential system, avoiding the resultants of two polynomials, and then provide a constructive process to characterize the nature of the hyperbolic singularities with the help of algebraic invariants for the considered system. Our method applies in the case where the system is a planar quadratic differential system.
