Abstract :
Cervical cancer is ranked as the second most common cancer among women in Indonesia. According to the East Java Provincial Health Office, in 2019, the number of cervical cancer patients reached 13,078 cases. This study aims to describe the characteristics of cervical cancer patients in Malang City, Indonesia. An observational descriptive study combined with logistic regression analysis was conducted to assess the impact of various independent variables on the type of cervical cancer suffered by the patients. Based on the results of 314 study participants, the highest incidence in the age range of 50-59 years (36.9%) and found that non-keratinizing squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) (29.3%) was the highest type, and the result of the highest stadium of cervical cancer is III B (49.7%). The primary treatment administered was chemotherapy, used in 49% of cases. Based on logistic regression analysis, it is found that the type of cervical cancer is significantly influenced by education and the stadium of cervical cancer is significantly influenced by body mass index and parity. The high incidence of cervical cancer is dominated by non-keratinizing SCC in stadium III B significantly influenced by education, BMI, and parity this incidence its peak in the age range of 50-59 years.
