Abstract :
The first examples of triple-decker europium(III) sandwich complexes containing bis(octaethylporphyrinyl)butadiyne and phthalocyanine have been prepared by condensation of NiOEPC4-OEPH2 (H2l) and Li2Pc with Eu(acac)3-H20. The complexes (Pc)Eu(l)Eu(Pc) and (l)Eu(Pc)Eu(Pc) were characterized by NMR, IR, Raman, UV-vis, and mass spectra.
