Abstract :
Finely ground powders of Sm2Fe17N were uniformly sorbed with the Zn vapor formed at 623-673 K in evacuated glass tubings, so that coercivity (H) values and oxidation resistance of the resulting Zn/Sm2Fe17N, powders were considerably improved to a practical use level as bonded magnet materials compared with those of the untreated powder.
