Synthesis and Characterization of (mu)-Oxodiiron(III) Complexes of Porphycenes with Electronwithdrawing Substituents

(mu)-Oxodiiron(III) complexes of porphycenes with electron-withdrawing Br-substituents have been synthesized. The crystal structure of a tetrabrominated complex was elucidated by X-ray analysis. The Br-substituted effects for the electronic spectra and electrochemical properties have been reported.
