Selective Production of (epsilon)-Caprolactam via Liquid-phase Beckmann Rearrangement of Cyclohexanone Oxime over HUSY Catalyst

(epsilon)-Caprolactam was selectively produced through the liquid-phase Beckmann rearrangement of cyclohexanone oxime over HUSY catalyst when the by-products formation was effectively retarded by blockage of the corresponding active centers of pre-adsorbed water and benzonitrile molecules.
