Abstract :
Selective 1H-13C inverse NMR experiments based on heteronuclear cross-polarization (HCP) are presented. Practical details on the implementation of one-bond [1J(C,H)] optimized and pseudo-3D HCP experiments combined with gradient coherence slection are reported. On the other hand., accurate values for long-range proton-carbon coupling constants [nJ(C,H); n > 1] can be measured from ultra-clean in-phase ID proton multiplets resulting of long-range optimized experiments. Alternatively, such heteronuclear connectivities can be also clearly elucidated using d 1H-selectivc 13C-detected version in which signals exclusively arise from selective transfer of a selected proton to all long-range coupled carbon nuclei.
