Abstract :
To understand the detailed mechanism of multi-dimensional barrier Atunneling, numerical simulations are performed for the scattering Aprocess of a simple class of 2-degrees of freedom systems. It is Ademonstrated that the phase-eigenstate of the harmonic oscillator is Avery useful to visualize the Poincare section of the scattering eigenstate. By using the phase-eigenstate representation, it is Aconfirmed that the enhancement of the coupling between two degrees of Afreedom causes remarkable interference patterns on the tunneling wave.
