An injection-locked erbium-doped fibre ring laser

The effects of injection-locked on an erbium-doped fibre laser based on a ring configuration have been demonstrated. A comparison between experimental results and theoretical prediction in the locking range is made with consistent results in a small wavelength range of about 15 nm. Frequency stabilisation was obtained by applying this approach, ensuring stable output power of the fibre laser system.
