Abstract :
Four basic drugs were separated by capillary electrophoresis(CE) using cyclodextrins(CDs) including ?-CD, hydroxypropyl-?-CD(HP-?-CD), heptakis-2,6-di-O-methyl-?-CD(DM-?CD) and carboxymethyl-?-CD (CM-?-CD) as chiral selectors. The effects of CM-?-CD concentration, pH of buffer solution, applied voltage and operation temperature were investigated. Under the conditions of 100 mmol/L H3PO4-triethanolamine buffer at pH 3.1 containing various amounts of CM-?-CD, baseline separation of the enantiomers of salbutamol, norephedrine, ofloxacin and atenolol could be achieved.
