Observations on inverse binomial distribution

In the field of biomedical sciences, experiments are often performed on samples in which objects of interest are distributed according to binomial distribution. However, in these experiments it is the inverse problem that usually interests us. That is, the number v of successes is known and the number n of trials is questioned. This paper is based on the investigation of the inverse distribution of the binomial.
