Abstract :
A novel fuseless capacitor bank design using
conventional single-bushing capacitors is presented. The
design can be used for shunt and series capacitor bank
installations. Technical and economic comparisons of the
new design with the present industry standard design for
fuseless capacitor banks are presented.
