Solution of the improved and generalized quasistatic methods by Kaps and Rentrop integration scheme with stepsize control

The Kaps and Rentrop method of order four with step size control is used to solve stiff systems of ordinary differential equations. We apply only the stable method to solve the point kinetics equations for both the improved and the generalized quasistatic methods. The results obtained by implementing the method in TRIVAC-3 reactor code are very close to those obtained by Gearʹs method.
