Multigroup CN method--I. half-space albedo problem

The CN method of solving the transport equation is extended here to multi group problems with anisotropic scattering and applied to the calculation of the albedo of a semi-infinite homogeneous medium. The results are in excellent agreement with those obtained by other methods. A benchmark is proposed for a problem with upscattering and a strong angle-energy correlation.
