Abstract :
Calculated neutron fission cross sections in good agreement with
the existing experimental data have been obtained for 242pU applying a number
of methods developed before for 239PU. Thus more accurate theoretical data
have been obtained, proving at the same time the adequacy of these methods
for different types of isotopes
