  • Abstract
    Indiaʹs growing energy needs can be met primarily by coal and nuclear power. The countryʹs limited uranium and abundant thorium resources call for a three-stage nuclear energy program. The FBR forms the second stage of the program. This paper describes the relevance and growth of the FBR program in India.
