New stochastic modelling of mixing in process operations

The stochastic phenomena which are always present in the chemical processes may have a great influence on the results and their reliability. In many cases experiments carried out under similar conditions give quite different results. Previous experiments and theoretical investigations emphasised the importance of stochastic phenomena. A new stochastic model is presented in this paper which takes the stochastic nature of chemical processes into consideration.
