Icosahedral quasicrystals applied as a harmonic-free crystal analyser

The use of the quasicrystals as crystal analysers has been studied in monochromatic Xray synchrotron radiation applications. The efficiency of the combination of periodic and quasiperiodic crystals for harmonic rejection is demonstrated.
