Abstract :
This paper describes the way in which hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces can be added to the
conventional static and inertia forces for the non-linear analysis of 3D exible pipes and riser systems.
Emphasis is placed on elements that use the Reissner–Simo beam theory or a related co-rotational
approach
