Competition in transmission: itʹs coming sooner or later

Properly structured grid trading under a competitive model will enable generation and transmission to serve as substitutes for one another. Without such an approach, we are likely to see only a muted market for power. The crucible of Californiaʹs reform effort has already engaged players on both sides of the issues.
