Duration-dependent features of unemployment insurance

In this paper the duration-dependent effects of unemployment benefits are estimated using microeconomic data and models of unemployment duration. It is shown that unemployment benefits have a negative effect on the probability of becoming employed during the first fwe months, but later on the disincentive effect falls
