A note on the Markov perfect equilibrium of a linear–quadratic alternating-move game

A two-player alternating-move game with general quadratic payoff functions is analyzed, and the reaction functions and value functions are derived. The derivation of the value functions not only completes the analysis, but also is useful for studies involving these functions.
