Consumption–leisure choice with habit formation

In an intertemporal consumption–leisure choice model with wage uncertainty, and habit-forming consumption, we have shown that, consumption and leisure do move in opposite directions, consistent with the observed pro-cyclicy of aggregate hours worked.
