Comparing allocations under asymmetric information: Coase Theorem revisited

this paper investigates the robustness of Coase Theorem under asymmetric information. We identify the conditions under which the same allocation is attained as an equilibrium in a bilateral trade model no matter which informed or uninformed party has the bargaining power to make a contract offer.
