Foreign direct investment from developing Asia: some distinctive features

This paper finds that, compared to foreign direct investment (FDI) from developed OECD countries, FDI from East and Southeast Asian developing economies exhibits several distinctive features—it is less sensitive to host-country income, and attenuated more rapidly with distance.
