GAS ABSORPTION IN THE CONDUIT SHAPE SCRUBBER

A mathematical model for mass transfer in a conduit scrubber has been developed and tested by experimental data obtained for removing ammonia from air by drops of water. Utilizing existing theories about mass transfer, a new correlation has been suggested for calculation of drop size. The results of the mathematical prediction agree well with the experimental data.
