ON ORDER STATISTICS WHEN THE SAMPLE SIZE IS RANDOM

The m^th raw moments of i^th order statistic and product moment of i^th and j^th order statistics, and the density function of the range R, in random sampling from a uniform distribution in (0, 1) and exponential distribution is obtained, when the sample size is random. The results of Raghunandanan and Patil [1] follow in simpler derivation.
