PASSIVE AND ACTIVE POWER FILTER PERFORMANCE IN HVDC SYSTEMS

The problem of harmonic generation in HVDC systems is analyzed and different methods to solve this problem are discussed. An HVDC system is simulated with. two AC networks, including synchronous generators and also some AC filters, through which we will compare the operation of these filters in eliminating the harmonics created by the HVDC
