Abstract :
The fabrication and the Tc of 110 K phase in the Bi-Sr-Ca-Cu-O compound is rapidly increased if small amounts of Pb are incorporated in the compound. The highest Tc of 113 K was obtained after sintering treatment of several days at 860(degree)C. The results of Ac-susceptometery on pure and Pbdoped ceramic samples show that Pb-doping enhanced the formation of 110 K phase in the Bi-based compound and helped to increase the Tc of these materials.
