The nonlinear response of a family of simple three-dimensional trusses

this paper we demonstrate, through a very simple three dimensional truss, a degenerated case of bifurcation-infinite bifurcated paths. In addition we show its implication on numerical simulation by the finite element method. The effect of imperfection on the truss is also discussed, where isolated solutions are found.
