Energy analysis of dislocation arrays near bimaterial interfaces

Expressions for the elastic strain energies due to dislocation arrays near bimaterial interface or near the free surface of a semi-infinite body are derived. Arrays with periodic straight dislocations of edge, screw and combined type are considered.
