Abstract :
The theory of diffusive stresses based on the time-fractional diffusion equation is formulated. The source problem is discussed as well as the Cauchy problem. The stresses are found in axially symmetric cases (for plane deformation). The numerical results for the concentration and stress distributions are presented graphically for various values of order of fractional derivative
