Metastatic leiomyosarcoma of uterus clinically simulating primary breast carcinoma

Primary and secondary sarcomas occurring within the breast are rare tumours. We describe a mammary metastasis from a myometrial leiomyosarcoma that presented clinically and radiologically as a primary breast tumour. During histopathological assessment of breast sarcomas, the possibility that it may represent a metastasis from an extramammary primary site should be considered.
