Abstract :
Postirradiation sarcoma (PIS), while still uncommon, is a complication that is appearing more frequently as the number of long-term survivors increases. In this study, two cases of radiation-induced sarcoma of the breast were observed in patients treated for breast cancer with lumpectomy and postoperative radiation therapy. They had been cured of their primary malignancies.
