Abstract :
This article presents results of research on Polish versions of Gudjonsson Suggestibility Scales (GSS 1 and GSS 2; Gudjonsson, 1984, 1987, 1997)––tools for measuring interrogative suggestibility, that is, the tendency to yield to suggestive questions and to change answers after negative feedback. The psychometric properties of Polish versions of the GSS 1 and GSS 2 were comparable to the original ones. Aspects of interrogative suggestibility correlated negatively with intelligence and memory, and positively with social desirability and vividness of imagery. No correlation of interrogative suggestibility with neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness, conscientiousness, fear of negative evaluation, locus of control, absorption, and dissociation were found.
