Abstract :
Within a wide range of solar radiation intensities, a method of raising the power output in a photovoltaic water-lifting unit, consisting of a solar battery, a d.c. electric motor, and a centrifugal pump, has been proposed and substantiated. The positive effect of artificial control of consumed power obtained by attenuation of the motor magnetic flux as a function of radiation has been experimentally supported.
